Why we started Woomatures

Many dating apps are built for people in their twenties: fast swiping, tiny text and endless profiles. Plenty of people over 40 find them tiring, confusing or worse, full of scammers. Woomatures is built differently. It's calm and easy to use, and it puts your safety first.

Who it's for

Woomatures is for single people aged 40 and over, whether you're looking for companionship, a long-term partner, marriage, or a friend to share new experiences with. It's a good fit if you're divorced, widowed or returning to dating after many years.

How it works

• Each day we suggest up to 5 people who suit what you're looking for, and who are looking for someone like you.
• You can send a like or a message to anyone you see. There's no waiting to be matched.
• Large text, clear labelled buttons and no swiping make it easy to use on a phone, tablet or computer.

What it costs

Nothing. Woomatures is free to join and free to use, with no subscriptions or hidden charges. We'll never ask you for payment details to sign up.

Real people only

Every profile on Woomatures belongs to a real person who signed up. We never create fake, paid or computer-generated profiles, and we never send messages pretending to be members. The people pictured on our home page are illustrations, not members.

Keeping you safe

• Everyone takes a private verification photo when they join, which our safety team uses to keep fake profiles out.
• We show a gentle warning if a message mentions money, gift cards, investments or moving to another app.
• You can report or block anyone in two taps. Our safety team reviews every report.
• Woomatures is for genuine relationships. Paid companionship, "sugar" arrangements and adult content aren't allowed (see our terms).
